Cindy Hu is an effective instructor and I learned a great deal, considering I had no prior knowledge of Chinese language. After only five individual tutoring sessions, I have attained the ability to speak about everyday subjects. Now, I am acquiring the ability to understand simple spoken interactions. I feel that this course is intellectually challenging and Instructor Cindy Hu skillfully shares her knowledge of the language. Overall, she offers an excellent course and I would recommend this course to anyone who needs to gain knowledge of Chinese language and culture.

I have been studying Chinese with Cindy for almost 2 months and I am already able to discuss with Chinese people. I am moving to Asia and I feel confident about my Mandarin basic skills. Cindy is an excellent teacher, I have had many different language teachers and I wish they could have all been like her!
Cindy is very patient, she gave me the right tools, the logical thought I needed to understand and memorize easily. She noticed very quickly what were my weaknesses and we focused on them. She also told me a lot about the Chinese culture and this will help me better adapt to the Asian culture. The environment of the Learning Center is very good and relaxing, I was always surrounded by Chinese people, believe me you won’t even realize you are working hard! The rates ares very competitive and the results are definitely satisfying.

Cindy Hu is an excellent and very patient teacher and I enthusiastically recommend her to anyone trying the difficult task of learning mandarin. I struggled a great deal trying to learn chinese on my own and with friends. When I started with Cindy, I began to realize what a difference a good teacher makes. I will be going to Taiwan in the very near future. Because of my time spent with Cindy, I now have the confidence of going anywhere in a foreign country with the language skills that I have learned. Cindy was especially helpful in teaching me the proper pronunciation that was not attainable by trying to learn the language on my own or to practice on friends. I consider the time and money well spent. I plan on taking more trips to China in the future and improving my language skills with Cindy's help.
